FOREST OF ANAGLYPHIC REVERSAL

This project replicates the function of anaglyph glasses on a 2D image in a 3D field by first confusing the user’s depth perception in a forest of ‘trees’ and then restoring it. The ability of the user's unaided eyes to perceive depth is thwarted by calibration of the size of the trees along certain sight lines to increase in inverse proportion to natural visual diminishment. Then, with the use of anaglyph glasses, the dichromatic trees are visually filtered, restoring depth perception to the viewer.
