If a bathhouse is an alternative and egalitarian social space, then such a space for an esteemed university's campus must stand in stark opposition to the social clubs that seem to dominate student life with their sprawling, exclusive, expensive mansions. In contrast, our scalable inflatables are small, accessible, and self-constructed. They perch lightly on the land and fit into marginal spaces -- wherever there is a nearby exhaust vent. Ephemeralities of Mylar and sultry air, they swell against the social and architectural status quo.
